Meet Reme, your AI transaction coordinator
Note: This feature is part of the AI TC add-on. See Plans and pricing.
Reme is the AI transaction coordinator built into Done-Deal. It reads your connected inbox, tracks every deadline on every active deal, and drafts the emails and updates a human TC would normally handle — then hands each one to you for a quick approve, edit, or skip. This article is the starting point for the rest of this category.

Once the AI TC add-on is active on your account, Reme keeps an eye on three things across every transaction you're not managing manually:
- Your inbox — once you've connected Outlook or Gmail, Reme reads incoming transaction email, matches it to the right deal, and drafts a reply or a follow-up action when one is needed.
- Deadlines — every deadline calculated from the mutual execution of contract (MEC) date gets watched on a rolling basis. As a deadline gets close (or passes without the related task being marked done), Reme queues a reminder.
- Documents — when a document is uploaded to a transaction, Reme identifies what kind of form it is and checks it for obvious problems like missing signatures or blank required fields.
Supervised by default
Every new transaction starts in Supervised mode, and that's enforced at the database level — not just in the app's settings — so an application bug can't accidentally let something go out unreviewed. In Supervised mode, every single action Reme wants to take waits in the Feed for you to approve, edit, or skip it. Nothing sends, and no transaction stage changes, without you clicking Approve.
You can opt individual transactions (or your account default for new transactions) into Autonomous mode, where routine, low-risk actions execute on their own. See Supervised vs. Autonomous modes for exactly what that does and does not change.
How often Reme runs
Reme runs on a schedule — four passes a day (7am, 12pm, 5pm, 9pm) — checking every active transaction for anything that needs attention. It also reacts immediately to certain events, like a new inbound email or a milestone being recorded. If you don't want to wait for the next scheduled pass, click Run agent now at the top of the Feed. See Reviewing and approving actions in the Feed for what happens after Reme finds something to do.
You can pause Reme entirely from Settings → AI Configuration — while paused, it generates no new reminders, drafts, or action items on any transaction, but nothing it already drafted disappears from the Feed.

FAQ
Does Reme work without a connected email account?
Partially. Deadline tracking and document checks still run, but Reme can't read or draft from your inbox until you connect Outlook or Gmail.
Can Reme send anything without my approval?
Only low-risk, routine actions on transactions you've explicitly switched to Autonomous mode — see Supervised vs. Autonomous modes. Everything else, on every transaction, waits in the Feed.
What happens if I turn Reme off mid-transaction?
Pausing AI TC in Settings stops new activity but doesn't touch anything already in progress — approved actions that already sent stay sent, and pending Feed items stay in the Feed until you act on them.
Is Reme a real person answering my email?
No. Reme is a software feature — it drafts, flags, and suggests, and you review and approve. Compliance responsibility for what goes out stays with you as the licensee.
