Creating your account

Updated 2026-07-01

This article walks through signing up, the six-step onboarding wizard, and the interactive tour that follows. Start here if you don't have a Done-Deal account yet, or if you want to know what each onboarding step is for.

On the sign-up page, either click Sign in with Google or fill in the form by hand:

  1. Full name
  2. Email
  3. Password (at least 8 characters) and Confirm password
  4. Check the box to agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
  5. Click Create account

Note: If you sign up with email and password, Done-Deal sends a confirmation link to your inbox. Click it to activate your account before signing in. Didn't get it? Check spam, or use the link on that screen to try a different email address.

Once your account is active, you're taken straight into the onboarding wizard.

The onboarding wizard

The wizard has six steps. A progress bar at the top shows which step you're on. You can skip most steps and finish them later from Settings.

  1. Your info — confirm your full name and enter your brokerage code (if you signed up from a brokerage invite link, this is filled in for you). Takes about 30 seconds.
  2. Connect Outlook — connect your email so Done-Deal can send contracts and Reme can work from your inbox. Covered in detail in Connecting your email — you can skip this step and connect later from Settings.
  3. Connect Telegram — optional. Link a Telegram username to get alerts and approve AI actions from your phone. Also covered in Connecting your email.
  4. First transaction — optionally create your first transaction right here: enter a property address and pick Buyer or Seller. Click I'll add my first transaction later to skip — you can always add one from your dashboard.
  5. Preferences — a short set of questions so Reme works the way you like: how you want updates communicated (brief, full picture, or just what to do), how much detail you want, your biggest transaction coordination headache (deadlines, drafting emails, chasing documents, or compliance), how urgent items should reach you, and what to call you.
  6. Done — a summary of what happens next, plus the option to Load sample transaction (a demo deal with real deadlines, tasks, and AI drafts already waiting for review) before you go to your dashboard.

The interactive tour

A short time after you land on your dashboard for the first time, an interactive tour starts automatically. It highlights the main parts of the app one at a time — your daily briefing, the Ask box, your transaction pipeline, the Colorado forms bank, your agent profile, cooperating-agent autofill, the compliance panel, the property portal, in-context help (look for the ? icon), Reme, starting a new transaction, and connecting your tools in Settings.

Tip: Check Don't show this tour again if you don't want it to reappear, or click Skip tour to dismiss it for this session only.

You can restart the tour any time. Go to Settings and click Restart onboarding tour.

FAQ

Can I change my answers from the Preferences step later?

Yes. Those preferences live in your account settings and can be updated any time — they don't lock in permanently during onboarding.

What if I skip connecting Outlook and Telegram during onboarding?

Nothing is lost. Both can be connected later from Settings → Connections. Until email is connected, Reme can't read transaction email or send messages on your behalf.

Does loading the sample transaction affect my real data?

No. It adds a separate demo transaction (1842 Maple St, Denver) so you can see how deadlines, tasks, and AI drafts look before you upload a real contract.

I'm joining a brokerage that already uses Done-Deal. Do I need a brokerage code?

Yes, generally. If you signed up using your brokerage's invite link, the code is filled in automatically on the Your info step. Otherwise, ask your office admin for the code.
