Hiring an outside TC through the marketplace
The TC marketplace is where you browse independent, Done-Deal-approved transaction coordinators and request one to work a specific transaction for an hourly rate — separate from adding your own staff under Team.

Open Marketplace to see every approved, active TC profile, with their hourly rate, specialties (residential, commercial, luxury, foreclosure, new construction, investment), brokerage affiliations, and rating. Filter the list by Specialty or by a specific Brokerage affiliation, then click View on a profile to see their bio and recent reviews.
Note: TCs are added to the marketplace and approved by Done-Deal, not by individual agents or brokerages — you can't list your own TC here yourself. You're browsing a directory Done-Deal maintains.
Requesting an engagement
From a TC's profile page:
- Under Request engagement, choose one of your open transactions from the dropdown. If you don't have any open transactions, create one first.
- Optionally set a Committed rate — leave it blank to use the TC's listed hourly rate.
- Add Notes describing the scope or anything the TC should know.
- Click Send request.
Warning: The committed rate field takes cents per hour, not dollars — the placeholder shows the TC's listed rate in the same units, so match that format if you enter your own number. Leaving it blank uses the TC's listed rate and avoids the mistake entirely.
This creates a request the TC needs to accept before any work begins — you aren't charged or committed until they do.
What happens after you send a request
An engagement moves through a fixed set of stages:
- Requested — waiting on the TC to respond.
- Accepted — the TC has agreed; work can start.
- Active — the engagement is underway.
- Completed — the TC logs their hours and the engagement closes out.
A request can also end in Rejected (the TC declines) or Cancelled (either side cancels after accepting). Every stage change is recorded, so there's a full record of when the engagement was requested, accepted, and completed.
FAQ
Can I hire the same TC for more than one transaction?
Yes. Each engagement is tied to a single transaction, so you'd send a separate request from that transaction if you want the same TC on another deal.
What if the TC never responds to my request?
The request stays in Requested status until they accept or reject it. There's no automatic expiration.
Is hiring a marketplace TC the same thing as adding a Team member?
No — these are two different systems. A marketplace engagement tracks a paid, per-transaction hire with a rate, a request/accept step, and a review history. Adding someone under Team is just a labeled roster of people you already work with, with no rate or engagement tracking attached.
How do I leave a review for a TC I've worked with?
There's no review form in the app yet. Ratings and written reviews already appear on TC profiles, and they're tied to completed engagements, but submitting one isn't available to agents from the marketplace pages today.
